We're here!

Finally arrived in Reunion Island. I am sitting on a nice comfortable bus, kids lovin' it! Niels' comment was "Mr. Kaiyo, is this bus within our budget?"
The flight was great, and the kids had a thrill. As the plane lifted off the ground, there were screams that blurred through the plane, and the hosts were quite amused. The children took turns to go into the cockpit and to see the island of Reunion as we approached. The pilots were very friendly, and he organised for the kids to be seated on the side where they could see into the main crater of the volcano as we flew over it. He even had a word of advice for the kids as he made his last announcements, "And to the school children, have a good time and listen to your teachers."I think a few kids are now decided on their future jobs! I stayed in the cockpit for the landing, and though it was very windy the landing was pretty smooth.
The kids are very impatient about everything, so you can imagine all the questions being fired at me right now.
By the way, thank you to all the parents that came to see us off, and a SPECIAL thank you to Mr. Thompson for taking the time to come and support us as well.

Hi Grade 6, glad to see you had a good trip and arrived safely. Good to see, Niels, that you are applying what you have just learn in your paces about budgets. Maybe you can assist Mr. Kaiyo on that side during the trip, and make sure he doesn't become a Loan Shark ;-) Dad
