After Lunch - Day 2

After lunch the kids set out to learn how to use the telescopes in order to make use of them in the evening. In teams, they were taught how to set the levels and focus the telescopes. Then they were asked to focus on a piece of paper stuck on the building in the distance and to see what was written on it.  Mr. Kaiyo came into focus later on and seemed to always come back screaming upside down!? All in all, a lot of fun while learning, was had by all. Then a time for juice and snacks before getting down to some serious playing of 1, 2, 3 Block and of course, the new and improved 6 Square. Time flew by and it was time for showers and then the much anticipated dinner time. It was soooo good but we'll keep you wondering what was on the menu. A short time to wash up and get our woolies on before heading back to the classroom for the next lesson on the star constellations.
