The evening

We had a cool quiet evening, just what we needed before the hectic week. The dinner, wow, that dinner was just great.  Pumpkin gratin, which my wife would have absolutely loved, for starters. The kids just packed themselves up with the starter, it was so good. The main course, fish (dorado) curry, lentils and rice was just as good, so they went for it. We settled to a movie after dinner, and had some good laughs together.
It took a while to get the excited bunch to bed, but finally about 11 pm they  were quietly tucked in and snoring away. Am sure the little minds were still at work, trying to work out what's in store for the following day!
